Thomas O. Putnam, Founder & Chairman
Tom is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Fenimore Asset Management. Tom imparts the ongoing vision for Fenimore and provides insight and guidance to our separately managed portfolio business and FAM Funds. Tom received a B.A. from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from Tulane University.

John D. Fox, CFA, Director of Research & Research Analyst
John is the co-manager of the FAM Value Fund. John received a B.S. from Fairfield University, an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, and the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. In 1995, John earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Prior to joining Fenimore in 1996, John spent ten years in the financial services industry as financial analyst and as an executive in the life insurance industry.
